As usual Custom Truck is still working hard to stay out of the red ink and in some areas it has turned to black, but it is very difficult to manage with the current politicians at the wheel in Washington D. C.
While talking to Mark today, we agreed that our elected officials have a problem even though they say they don’t. I relate that to a friend who is an alcoholic but if you ask him he will say that he doesn’t have a problem!
Funny world we live in – it is always someone else’s fault for the bad economy and unemployment and no one takes any of the heat or blame.
We have seen about a 10-15% gain in gross sales but in most cases the margins are going down so the break even number is higher. The cost of goods and utilities keep rising and it is a no win situation. All we can do is keep trying. So keep up the good work and we hope the increase in sales will eventually relate to more black ink.
